2002 Rhode Island Jewish Community Demographic Study

In May 2003, our community released the results of the 2002 Rhode Island Jewish Community Study.  Funded by the JFRI Endowment Fund, the study was executed over the past year by Dr. Ira Sheskin, a nationally respected demographer and a leading expert in the field of Jewish community studies.  He worked with the Community Study Committee, chaired by Dr. Albert Silverstein.  The information he gathered has already begun to play a vital role with The Partnership and will provide us with useful and critical information for planning for many years to come.

There is a wealth of information included and it will certainly answer a lot of questions you may have had about the make-up of our community – our demographics, attitudes and connections to Jewish communal life.
