Shalom and Welcome!

Dear Midrasha students and families,

The faculty and I welcome all of our new and returning students to the Harry Elkin Midrasha Community High School.  Our students look forward to coming to Midrasha each Sunday morning to renew old friendships, meet new friends, share meaningful experiences and learn in a relaxed, supportive, and stimulating atmosphere.

Come join teens from all over Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts to meet peers from different schools, towns and synagogues in our area.  We invite all students in grades 8-12 to enroll regardless of religious affiliation or synagogue membership.  Midrasha offers a variety of classes, associate programs and internships.  These programs help teens learn about Israel, contemporary issues, and ethical dilemmas.  Through films, activities, lively discussions, debates, projects, and guest speakers, the Midrasha experience will be both meaningful and relevant. Midrasha also offers students trips to Washington, Philadelphia and Israel.
