Welcome to the Women's Alliance

Our mission is to instill a sense of Jewish identity in all women through fundraising in support of the Jewish Federation of RI (JFRI), diverse programming, leadership development, and community service; and to impart to the community the evolving needs of the Jewish people locally, nationally, in Israel, and overseas on behalf of JFRI.

The Women’s Alliance Campaign is off to a great start, thanks to our very successful Home Sweet Home event on October 13, which was graciously hosted by Diane Ducoff.  Of the $775,000 raised in our overall 2011 annual community campaign efforts to date, our community women represent more than $200,000 of that total.

The outcome of Home Sweet Home has been exceptionally positive.  Home Sweet Home results currently show a 10% donation increase per person, for a total of $120,000 raised so far from the women who attended the event. Additionally, we are ahead $11,500 in new and increased dollars raised. And we added one new member to the Women’s Alliance Endowment Fund.

We thank our event chairs, Cindy Feinstein, Mindy Wachtenheim, and, Jordana Jaffee, Bonnie Steinberg Jennis, President of The Women’s Alliance, and Women’s Campaign Chair Susan Leach DeBlasio for their leadership commitment to making the event successful.  We are looking forward to being able to report back on more positive results soon.

Thank you to everyone who made this event such a success on behalf of our community and the hundreds of thousands of lives that are touched every day with a gift to our Annual Community Campaign. You make this a better, brighter world for another with your tzedakah.
